Here at Equilibrium Accountants we're passionate about small business. That's why all our packages and solutions have been specifically created with you in mind. We're different because we don't just look at your accounts once your financial year is done, we look at them continuously throughout the year. We work alongside you, across a wide range of services, enabling you to get all the benefits of having your own in-house accounts team at a price you can actually afford. We'll help you stay on top of all your responsibilities and deadlines in respect of Payroll, VAT, Corporation Tax and Company Accounts, but also aim to make your accounts a proactive decision making tool, that both inform and inspire you to grow.
Established in 2013, we're a York-based firm led by our dynamic Managing Director, Nikki, a fully qualified chartered accountant with over 15 years of experience. We're also a small family business ourselves, so we understand some of the challenges you may be facing, but also the passion that's driving you forward and just how important your business is to you and your family.

When your business is a legal entity you have extra responsibilities in regards to reporting and tax, which is why we tailor our services slightly differently. We'll still support you with your bookkeeping, payroll, VAT and provide regular management reporting. But we'll also make sure your year end accounts and corporation tax returns are prepared in accordance with all applicable financial reporting requirements.
As your agent, we'll submit your accounts and returns and also deal with HMRC directly on your behalf. Meaning you get to stay focused on what matters most - your business.

Not everyone needs us to manage their accounts for them, but almost everyone appreciates a bit of extra support now and then, which is why we're about to launch our new business club.
For a small monthly fee, you'll get regular direct access to our team for training, technical guidance and support. We can also facilitate access to a leading online accountancy software package.
